Ms. Vajdani is Vice President and Business Group Director – California. With offices in Los Angeles, Sacramento, Orange County, Oakland, and Milpitas, Sima leads the firm’s rapidly expanding practice in the state and is charged with overseeing and coordinating business development efforts, production activities, and operations.

Sima has more than three decades of engineering, project delivery, construction, and management experience. She has served public and private sector clients throughout the western United States on a range of water and transportation infrastructure projects, including mass transit, water/wastewater, highways, ports, airports, bridges, and special structures.

Previously, she served in leadership roles where she has helped set firms apart in a changing marketplace. She served as President, CEO, and Founder of McInfra, a company focused on providing consulting services to the water and transportation infrastructure community. Prior to McInfra, she was instrumental in establishing an engineering division for Samsung Engineering and Construction in the Americas. She has also served in senior leadership roles in a number of other prominent firms, such as Atkins, Earth Tech, Jacobs, and CH2M Hill.
