Serving the community is key to defining who we are as a firm. Our purpose is to continuously improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. We achieve this by delivering exceptional results to our clients’ unique problems. However, our service doesn’t stop there. LAN is committed, and we believe our efforts in the community will result in long-lasting impact.
LAN has distributed monetary donations to increase the impact that local organizations have in the community. We have donated to organizations such as the Sheldon ISD Education Foundation, Texas Trees Foundation and Water for People.
The LAN Family frequently helps with developing the next generation of engineers and architects. Whether our team is speaking to a class at Texas A&M, supporting Harris County Precinct One’s Street Olympics or giving a presentation at a student ASCE meeting at UT Austin, we believe that inspiring young engineers begins before their first job interview.
LAN gives back by volunteering our time in various community events. Our most recent effort involved planting 25 trees near Richardson, TX for the Texas Trees Foundation.
VoLANteers is a company-wide volunteer organization that provides support to various agency, municipality and industry programs and events dedicated to community improvement, education and/or the environment. Several events are planned throughout the year, including food and supply drives/deliveries, charity walks, community cleanups and beautification projects.
