LAN Hosts APTA Reception Honoring Women in Transportation

During APTA’s 2022 TRANSform conference in Seattle, Washington, LAN and SYSTRA co-hosted a reception honoring women in the transportation industry. The event highlighted women in leading transportation roles and speakers included Nuria Fernandez, Administrator of the Federal Transit Administration, Deanna Leggett, Executive Vice President of Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Tomika Monterville, Transportation Director of the City of San Antonio, and Sima Vajdani, Vice President and Business Group Director at LAN.

The speakers were able to share inspiring words on how women can uplift each other within the industry and how important it is for young women in engineering to see a path for them to advance their career.
