A nationally-renowned hydrodynamic and water quality professional and modeler, Dr. Su has more than 30 years of experience serving public and private clients on water resources-related project initiatives. His background includes ambient riverine, lake and coastal hydrodynamic, sediment, water quality studies and modeling, and stormwater quality management and modeling, including Best Management Practices (BMP) and Low Impact Developments (LID), complex hydrodynamic modeling, hydraulics and hydrology, coastal engineering, GIS-based tool development, erosion and sediment controls, scour analysis, statistical data analysis, database management, and detailed design of stormwater detention basins and flood control channels.
He is an expert stormwater modeler and designer, and couples the two areas of expertise to provide professional services, including technical direction and oversight. In addition to his modeling expertise, Dr. Su has addressed many complex water-related engineering problems, often developing custom analysis programs to meet client needs.
