Every year, many home and business owners in Texas wonder if they could be impacted by devastating floods. Annually, damaging flood waters cause millions of dollars of destruction across the United States. A single inch of water in a structure can cause $25,000 worth of damage. Only flood insurance- not general homeowner’s coverage- will cover losses. Having flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), can make rebuilding faster and easier to transition back to normal life.
