A half-mile, four-lane extension of University Boulevard in Sugar Land is spurring residential development, according to civil engineering firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam.
Since construction on the extension began in 2015, oil and gas supplier Nalco Champion put up a new headquarters and Johnson Development built a 200-unit apartment complex for seniors along the route.
