Port Neches-Groves ISD – School Bond Program Management

Port Neches Texas

Because of Port Neches-Groves Independent School District’s (PNGISD) $123 million bond program passing, LAN served as bond program manager, responsible for coordinating and managing more than $100 million in design, construction and renovation projects district wide.

LAN worked closely with District leaders and an active community base to ensure PNGISD’s educational objectives were met through the comprehensive facility improvements plan. Program goals included renovation of high school athletic facilities, additions and renovations to the high school, replacement of two middle schools, and renovation and upgrade to elementary schools.

In an effort to facilitate project excellence for PNGISD, LAN provided full-time staff on-site throughout the over three-year program, attended monthly board meetings to provide status reports and maintained effective lines of communication with the key stakeholders.

In addition to maintaining budget, scope, and schedule LAN assisted in selection of architecture, engineering, and other consultant team members, design review, on-site construction observation, furniture procurement assistance, school board and community updates.

Hired after several projects had been designed and bid, LAN worked closely with the District to bring project costs in line with available funding. By the completion of the project, LAN had provided savings and returned value equal to over 600% of our fee.
