LAN provided MEP design services for both the original complex and the renovation/addition to the existing facility. The 5-story addition included a circular design concept which mirrors the existing hospital towers. A 147-foot wide linking bridge spanning 70 feet on the second level accommodates an expanded surgery and recovery area. An underground tunnel was constructed to connect the existing and new buildings.
