Methodist Hospital’s goal was to change its institutional image to a more comfortable, residential character while expanding its medical capabilities with new programs and equipment.  LAN’s task was to implement this new image in the renovation design.

LAN’s responsibilities included extensive participation with the hospital staff, whose input was crucial as we determined precise needs and priority standards.  The seasoned project team then identified and undertook over 20 phases of Priority I renovations.  Because all major functional areas were affected by this reorganization, detailed phasing and coordination were essential. LAN’s efforts met with great success – the hospital remained fully operational throughout the renovation, and the new facility pleases patients, staff, and the public.
