Crosby ISD – Bond Program Management – Crosby Independent School District

Crosby Texas

LAN is providing program management services for Crosby ISD’s $89.5 million Bond Program. LAN will oversee the expansion of Crosby High School, improvements to the high school’s track, and the development of a facility master plan for the District’s future projects.

Crosby High School will undergo an 84,000 square foot expansion that will allow a student capacity increase of 900. The expansion includes 34 classrooms, laboratory spaces, faculty workspace, and student collaboration areas. The high school will also receive a new career and technical education (CTE) wing that includes a welding shop, manufacturing and technology shop, locker room, and classrooms.

Track improvements include resurfacing of the track, revising the track orientation, and addressing draining and turf attachment issues.

LAN will also support the District in developing a long-range facility master plan to determine and prioritize future facility needs. LAN will assist in conducting a comprehensive capacity analysis for pre-K through middle school campuses, evaluating land use for expansions or new facilities, and developing property size standards for facilities. The planning will also include reviewing demographic trends, interviewing maintenance staff for facility needs, and developing strategies for growth and maintenance. LAN will provide consultation to the District, facilitate committees, and assist in making facility improvement recommendations.
