Recently LAN worked with Kaiser Permanente to prepare a plan for the continued facility and building operations in the event of a strike. The support employee union voted and planned to implement a strike of their 75,000 workers in Northern California. LAN’s Continued Operations Plan focused on security, transportation, housing, and training for 50,000 temporary employees that would substitute the support employee union employees on strike. In addition to this assignment, LAN assisted in procuring staff for the support service roles for all of Kaiser Permanente in Northern California facilities.
