Profile

Mr. Manges is the Practice Leader of LAN’s Stormwater Management team specializing in hydraulic and hydrologic analysis and drainage design. He oversees and manages engineering services companywide for stormwater modeling, watershed studies, drainage master plans, preliminary engineering reports, storm sewer design, riverine improvements, water quality analyses and erosion control. He pioneered the usage of two-dimensional stormwater modeling in the Houston region and has presented numerous topics at the Texas Floodplain Management Association and the Association of State Floodplain Management conferences.

Notable projects include the 53-square-mile Little Cypress Creek Watershed Study for the Harris County Flood Control District, a master drainage plan for the City of Beaumont encompassing 100+ square miles, the automated Watershed Planning Tool, and a three-watershed regional drainage study, which was awarded a silver medal by the Texas Council of Engineering Companies (TCEC).
