Ms. Ramos has extensive experience in large diameter water main design including management of the City of Houston Surface Water Transmission Program (SWTP), a $660 million program that includes more than 300 miles of large diameter pipelines throughout Houston. As the SWTP Program Manager, she is responsible for meeting Program budgets and deadlines as well as tracking performance measures. Projects and services provided in the SWTP include trenchless design such as tunneling, horizontal directional drilling, and slip lining; corrosion design and commissioning; hydraulic and transient analysis; construction phase services; and condition assessment of the existing water system. Her primary focus also includes capital improvement planning, design quality, cost reduction reviews, and optimal phasing of improvements for the Program.
