Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) announces Mackrena Ramos, P.E., vice president and business group director at LAN, has been named the 2024 Engineer of the Year by Houston Hispanic Architect and Engineers (HHAE).

Ramos was honored and awarded at the HHAE Gala in late September. She is a graduate of the Cullen College of Engineering’s Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Houston, and with her husband Michael, a spirited member of the university’s alumni community. She served on the inaugural Cullen Gala Honorary Committee this year.
