Planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) has promoted Jeremy N. Nakashima to vice president.

Nakashima, who joined LAN in 2010, has more than 26 years of experience as a project manager and design engineer. Currently, he leads the firm’s water and wastewater practice group where he is responsible for building client relationships, expanding the practice around the country, ensuring the design quality of the firm’s water and wastewater projects, and mentoring the engineers in the group. Previously, he served the firm as a regional manager responsible for overseeing the firm’s infrastructure projects in the Midwest area.

“From the time Jeremy joined our firm, he has played a key role in growing our presence in the Midwest region, managing our projects, and supporting our pump station and treatment plant work in Texas,” said Steve Gilbreath, P.E., vice president and director of the firm’s infrastructure business group. “His leadership and technical expertise have been instrumental in helping us provide better service to our clients.”
