LAN Named as Top Austin-Area Engineering Firm
The Austin Business Journal has named Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam (LAN)to its list of Top Engineering Firms in the Austin-area. Of the firms chosen, LAN ranked No. 25, moving up five spots from the previous year.

The firms were ranked based on engineering billings for each Austin-area office, which includes offices in Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell counties. Austin Business Journal explains the importance of its ranking by affirming that “engineering services affect all aspects of community development from land and infrastructure to designing next-generation facilities.” Of the firms ranked, clients do not have to be in the Austin area, and the billings include projects in all stages.
