Profile

Ms. Alvarez has more than a decade of civil and environmental engineering experience for infrastructure projects in Texas, including water and sewer, transportation, commercial and residential land development projects. Elaiza has spent the majority of her career serving clients throughout San Antonio, including the San Antonio Water System (SAWS), Bexar County, City of San Antonio and Alamo Regional Mobility Authority. As a project manager and civil engineer, she specializes in waterline and sewer design and rehabilitation; water and wastewater facilities; utility relocation and coordination; and roadway improvements.

She currently provides daily engineering, project management and construction management support to SAWS for several water and sewer infrastructure and facility design projects, including numerous projects in support of its Sanitary Sewer Overflow Reduction Program (SSORP).

In 2022, she received the Luna Award for Woman of the Year by the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association for her contribution to the A/E/C industry in San Antonio.
