Ms. Ecklund has more than 19 years of experience specializing in water & wastewater engineering for municipal infrastructure projects. Dedra’s design consulting experience includes waterlines, gravity sanitary sewer, sanitary sewer force mains, detention basins, and drainage channels. Her background includes coordination with landowners and attorneys on acquisition of property for utility extensions.

She has managed projects in water, wastewater, and transient modeling, capital improvement planning, and water and wastewater facility expansions and rehabilitation. Her experience includes facility evaluations, client and construction selection committees, and support to operations staff for day-to-day resident and operational concerns and issues.

Dedra is an active member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), serving as the Diversity and Inclusion Committee Chair for Texas AWWA and the national AWWA Diversity & Member Inclusion Committee Member.
