Barry Sikes, AIA, LEED AP, Joins LAN as Program Manager – Bond Programs

Barry Sikes has joined the planning, engineering, and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews, and Newnam, Inc. (LAN) as Program Manager of Bond Projects. Based in the Austin, Texas office, Sikes will lead, plan and manage the development and implementation of bond-funded capital projects for clients in the Central Texas region.
In his new role, Sikes will guide school districts in all decisions related to the administration of Bond projects. Sikes will lend technical and construction industry expertise to ensure a successful bond management process. With four decades of experience as an architect and project manager focused on K-12 school projects, Sikes has most recently served as Construction Department Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Interim Department Director at the Round Rock Independent School District. In the architectural profession, Sikes has served as project architect, Vice President, and Director of Educational Planning for architectural firm BLGY Architecture, Inc.

Sikes possesses a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Texas, and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation.
