Sheldon ISD Celebrates Opening of New C.E. King 9th & 10th Grade Campus
Sheldon Independent School District celebrated the opening of its new C.E. King 9th & 10th Grade Campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 23, marking a major milestone in the district's long-term investment in educational facilities to serve its rapidly growing community. The new campus was funded through the district's voter-approved $247.7 million 2022 bond program and will welcome students for the 2026–27 school year.
LAN Opens Expanded Frisco Office to Support Continued Growth in North Texas
LAN has opened a new office in Frisco, strengthening the firm’s ability to support infrastructure needs across the rapidly growing North Texas region. LAN has served North Texas for more than 50 years, beginning with the opening of its Dallas office in 1973. Frisco is the firm’s third office in the region, joining its locations in Dallas and Fort Worth.

The Houston Public Works Southwest Pump Station Secondary Refill Line and the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) Building M61 Boiler Addition were recognized for innovative engineering solutions and significant contributions to resilient infrastructure and public service. Both projects previously earned Gold Medals in the ACEC Texas Engineering Excellence Awards competition.
