Josh Metcalf, PE, Returns to LAN as Senior Technical Leader
Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) announces that Josh Metcalf, PE, has rejoined the firm as a senior technical leader. Based in Houston, Metcalf will provide technical leadership for LAN's water practice, supporting major clients and infrastructure projects throughout the state.
Metcalf brings more than 20 years of experience in the planning, design and program management of large-scale water transmission systems, pump stations and regional water supply programs. He returns to LAN after serving for the past decade as a technical lead on the program management team for the West Harris County Regional Water Authority’s $1.2 billion-plus Surface Water Supply Project in Texas. Earlier in his career, Metcalf spent 10 years with LAN, specializing in the design of large-diameter transmission pipelines and pump stations.
"Josh's technical expertise and leadership experience strengthen our ability to deliver complex water infrastructure projects for clients throughout the country," said Jeremy Nakashima, PE, vice president and water/wastewater facilities practice leader at LAN. "His background in regional water supply systems and large-diameter transmission projects will be invaluable as communities continue investing in critical infrastructure."
Metcalf earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas.
