LAN, Inc. Welcomes Samantha Avila, PE, as Program Manager

Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) is pleased to announce that Samantha Avila, PE, has joined the firm as a program manager with the Dallas/Fort Worth Program Management team.

In her role, Avila will oversee projects under the Irving ISD 2023 Bond Program and Duncanville ISD 2023 Bond Program. She will manage the planning and construction phases of campus and district improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget and aligned with each district’s goals. Through this work, Avila and her team will help enhance educational environments that positively impact students, staff and the broader community.

Avila brings extensive experience in project and program management for educational facilities. Prior to joining LAN, she served as an assistant project manager, where she coordinated design, construction, and budget management for multiple bond-funded renovation and addition projects totaling more than $100 million.

Avila earned both her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and an active member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), where she has served on the Young Leaders Committee.
