Profile

Mr. Matta has more than three decades of experience in the civil engineering industry as a project manager and design engineer. He has extensive experience serving numerous clients and stakeholders for both the public and private sectors. Samir currently leads LAN’s municipal infrastructure practice which serves municipal infrastructure clients throughout Texas and Michigan.

During his career, Samir has managed public works projects for municipal, county, and federal agencies such as the Cities of Lansing and Battle Creek, Bath, Berlin and Lansing Township, Ingham, Genesee and Shiawassee County Drain Commissioners’ offices, the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, United States Property and Fiscal Office, and the Corps of Engineers. He has extensive experience with watershed management, low-impact development design, drainage improvements, combined sewer overflow, sewer rehabilitation, roads and streetscape improvements, water distribution and treatment, and environmental cleanup projects.
