A badly placed condensate drain line dumped a significant amount of water into busway causing it to fail and leaving and significant systems without power. After being contacted by UTMB, LAN’s team arrived on site within 24 hours of the failure. LAN immediately assessed the situation, investigated the record drawings, and provided a set of construction drawings to be used to repair the damaged busway. LAN added equipment as necessary to ensure the new installation was compliant with current hospital codes and standards.
