Commissioning for Central Utility Plant – Scottish Rite Hospital

Dallas, Texas

LAN provided commissioning services for the central plant remodel and reworking of the electrical distribution system for the Scottish Rite Hospital. The commissioning process included the design, construction/testing, and occupancy/operations phase. LAN was active in the design of the central utility plant and provided insight and operational experience to the Owner.

The equipment and systems included all HVAC components in the central utility plant, the electrical emergency power distribution system including emergency generators, the domestic hot water generating system, and the refrigeration detection and exhaust system. As a world leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions in children, it was critical for the hospital to continue its expansion without any interruptions to their vital service during the central utility plant renovation.
