Disaster Recovery Program – Texas General Land Office

Since 2009, LAN has served as an engineering service provider for the Texas General Land Office (TGLO) through a master agreement for the disaster recovery program related to hurricanes Ike and Dolly. Through this master agreement, LAN has supported the City of Pasadena with studies, preliminary engineering, design, HUD reporting, bidding and construction-phase services for post-Hurricane Ike infrastructure projects funded through CDBG-DR/HUD. Projects funded by the TGLO Round 2.2 grant were awarded to the City of Pasadena under the disaster recovery program and totaled $14 million. LAN performed the following projects and assisted the City of Pasadena with TGLO/ HUD/CDBG audit compliance, design management, quality assurance and process improvement, and other requirements for projects under the program:
• Citywide drainage study
• Martha ditch concrete lining
• Cotton Patch Bayou detention, pump station, and outfall
• Wafer Street ground storage facility
• Garner water well & booster pumps upgrade
• Deepwater Water Plant upgrade
• Red Bluff & Pansy Road Water Plant upgrades
• Vista Street lift station upgrade
• Vista Trunk sewer upgrade
• Richey Road sewer upgrade
• New Vince Bayou WWTP – generator
