School Bond Program Management
LAN is the Program Manager for the $109 million bond program for Marshall ISD. The bond was the first passed in over thirty years for the community and represents a significant milestone for generations of students in the community.
The Bond program consists of five projects that will assist the district in their efforts to perform grade-level realignment. Three new prototype elementary schools of approximately 80,000 square feet will be built. Each of these buildings will be constructed on existing school sites. A new 100,000 square foot, two-story prototype Junior High school will be built on a new site. The last project in the program will re purpose a Junior High to serve as an Elementary School STEM facility.
LAN is providing design phase management, procurement and construction administration services. These services include, among many others, value engineering, schedule management, cost controls, contract consulting, construction observations and closeout activities. To date, the LAN team has identified approximately $2.6 million in savings to the entire program.
