School Bond Program Management
LAN is managing $200 million worth of programs for the Goose Creek Consolidated ISD from their 2013 Bond Program. The work touches every existing facility within the District's inventory and adds several new facilities. The renovation work will accomplish the District's goal of retiring $52 million in deferred maintenance and allow growth to accommodate expanded enrollments.
LAN is assembling logical work packages to accomplish wide-ranging repair needs in a way that minimizes classroom disruption and maximizes the value of the money spent on each project, as well as assisting with the solicitation and selection of the design team members and construction service providers.
New facilities will meet the districts growth in students and in program offerings. The program consists of three new elementary schools, a transportation center; data technology and emergency operations center, and an agricultural sciences center expansion.
LAN’s work will also allow the District to complete additions to four facilities and renovation of Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) labs in five schools. Additionally, security improvements, are planned at nearly every facility the District owns. LAN is providing design review, schedule management, cost control and quality reviews, among a wide array of basic services.
