Diversity is an extremely important aspect in the water and wastewater industry. It can show up in various forms, whether it is diversity in projects, the workforce, or in career choices. I have been fortunate to experience and benefit from all three of these areas. The area that I have found most value in has been diversity in my career. I have worked in consulting for a state-wide firm, a start-up firm, and I am currently a project manager at a national firm. I have also worked for a public agency that allowed me to understand both sides.
